Garçon Oh Garçon

Clues as to why I think our little snuggle bug is definitely a boy:

1)  I don’t have much of a sweet tooth like I normally do (pre-pregnancy).  This is weird b/c I usually have some sort of sweet at least once a day.  I really haven’t had a lot of desserts or chocolate lately (other than chocolate milk but that doesn’t count.  That’s just the only way I can drink milk).

2)  The hubs is convinced it is a boy especially because we are having difficulty thinking of boy names.  He thinks it’s a sign.

3)  Everything I am drawn to looking at baby stuff seems to be more for boys.  Lots of black, grey and orange.  Girl stuff is so cute but I’ve never been a huge fan of what I call baby girl pink.

4)  My Dr. told me so.  At my last ultrasound with the Perinatologist at 13 weeks 1 day, we received an unexpected but amazing surprise.  The doctor asked me if I wanted to know the sex of the baby.  I was like, “for real?”  Of course, I wanted to know and I know the hubs wanted to know.  So he told me.  BOY!  He gave me the obligatory, it’s still early…  Then he showed me a close up and said it looked like a boy to him and I concurred.  I was so excited.  I was actually surprised by how excited I was.  I could not wait to tell the Mr. and when I did, he was floored and beside himself.  He was even more surprised that they can tell this early.  That’s one of the perks of that fancy equipment they have, I suppose.
