I’m not generally a “matchy, matchy” person but I do like to coordinate (said in my John Witherspoon voice).  However, when I saw these BCBGeneration shoes at DSW, I had to scoop them up b/c I knew I had the perfect matching cobalt blue top to pair with them.

I love blue and grey together so I decided to break out these leggings and my Elisabetta tote, while we ran some errands.  It was a comfy outfit even with heels because they aren’t super high (roughly 3 1/2″).  The tunic (old) is long and covers my backside so I didn’t feel weird about wearing leggings.  And of course, I donned my signature, low maintenance bun.

Because this look is so simple, I felt ok with with being so matchy and I don’t think it’s overwhelming or terribly dated.  What about you?  How do you normally coordinate your outfits?  Do you like to match your bag with your shoes (I do sometimes).
