Today’s outfit is brought to you by, Rainy Weather in Dallas. We shot this look about a week ago when the weather was horrible. It was dark, dreary and misty even when it wasn’t raining. So I decided to just take a few pics inside the cocoon against my snazzy grey wall. The color is “Flint” by Restoration Hardware, BTDubs. At least wearing the soft pastel colors brightened my day. I love this kimono top and can’t wait to wear it as a swim cover up (as shown by Tanesha Awasthi here). Being able to use pieces in different ways helps extend your wardrobe and your budget.
Also exciting, I haven’t been able to fit in these J Brand jeans since before I was pregnant with Dax. I wore them while pregnant with a belly band but that doesn’t mean they fit. The mauvey pink is quite similar to one of Pantone’s Color of the Year 2016: Rose Quartz. You know I got them on sale at ShopBop, back in the day. These black Ralph Lauren wedges finished off my look. They are comfortable wedges although I’m not thrilled with the way my feet look in them, which is why I don’t wear them often. I’m picky about feet, as mentioned here!
Luckily, we’ve had sunshine and warm weather lately so I hope to get outside and take some light and bright outfits posts for you in the coming weeks. Where do you live and how does the weather affect they way you dress?
