It’s All About Progression

I still have so much to do in my home to get it decorated just so.  My entryway, for example, was just a shell of a foyer, waiting for more, wanting for more.  Melodramatics aside, I finally purchased an entryway table, so I can check that off my list.  I painted the niche quite some time ago and I love the color.  I originally wanted a whitewashed wood pedestal type of console table but then I decided to go with something that had more modern lines, especially because the rest of the house has more of a traditional feel.
Before (no more outfit shots in front of this niche I suppose).
After (ish).
The paint is “Flint” by Restoration Hardware.  I purchased the table and ottomans from Overstock and the mirror was a gift from my mother from Horchow.

A girlfriend and I are heading to Waco this Saturday to shop at Magnolia Market (and eat at the food trucks) so hopefully I can find some items to dress up the table.  Thinking books, a catchall, a few tchotchkes and a lamp.  How would you adorn this empty little table?
