This happened so quickly. My first Stitch Fix box arrived this past Friday! I really like the concept of the service. Being able to try on clothes in the comfort of your own home and return them is just so easy peasy. It’s a legit reason to play dress-up, not that I need one. You don’t have to have an automatically monthly shipment or fee if you don’t want. In fact, I scheduled my next Fix to arrive in January after I have the baby.
I wanted to give you a glimpse of the packaging. You get styling cards for inspiration, which I actually enjoyed looking over.
My stylist, Ciara left a detailed note that I appreciated and she definitely got it right that I love stripes – thanks to my Style board on Pinterest. I didn’t go balls out styling my looks right out of the box like I’ve seen some bloggers do. For me, this was about trying the pieces on and seeing how they work and fit for me.
The first item I tried on from my Stitch Fix box was this Loveappella Agnes Lace Sleeve Maternity Top.
Next up was this cozy Drape Cardigan from MTLA.
This top was the Laila Jayde Naten Contrast Neckline Maternity Knit Top. I loved it. It was a high-quality knit and just nice and casually cute. Fit great. I liked the deep magenta on the neckline. I kept this and am wearing it to work!
Here I am wearing the last two pieces, a Renee C Katarina Knit Swing Dress and the Kiley Maternity Ankle Zip Legging from Rune. I liked the dress in theory. The side inset with the vertical stripe is a cute detail. I’m not afraid to wear green and actually really like it b/c it brings out my eyes. But I wish it was a v-neck and it just didn’t scream keeper so ultimately I returned. I kept the leggings. They are fantastic. Super stretchy but still seem to hold me in. They were not just a plain cotton legging and the gold ankle zip detail is a cute detail (see below). I’m wearing them with my new Tory Burch Ashlynn Riding Boots that I bought at the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale.
Super cute!
That cardigan is so cute! I may have to check out Stitch Fix. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks! It's a fun excuse to play dress up, for sure!
Extremely intriguing online journal. A lot of web journals I see nowadays don't generally give anything that I'm keen on, however I'm most definitely inspired by this one. Recently felt that I would post and let you know. Trendy maternity clothes
