With Valentine’s Day on the very near horizon, I thought I’d share a quick and easy beauty look you can recreate. I literally only used 8 beauty items (the eye shadow palette counts as one). I love makeup but I don’t wear it every day. It is important for any look I create to be easy. I love how contouring looks but who has the time or the money to spend on all the products you need? Not this girl.
First of all, I have to sing the praises of Amazing Cosmetics Amazing Concealer. I did an easy contour with just two colors: Fair Golden and Medium Beige. Love the coverage and ease of this stuff. Blender sponges are my go to for applying concealer and foundation. I will sometimes use a buffing brush as well. Here is a good one from Morphe (I own it). Their brushes are so affordable.
Anywho, all I did was apply the lighter color under my eyes and on the raised parts of my face and nose. Then I applied the darker color near my hairline, under my cheekbones and on my jawline. I blended with the damp sponge and, voila.
Fleeking out your eyebrows is a must these days so I always make sure to use my Dipbrow when I do my makeup. For my shadow, I used three colors. Hard to tell specifics as the palette does not list the colors by name but I used a light mocha metallic all over, a bronze metallic in my crease and a matte taupe under my brows. You wouldn’t think that these colors “go together” but the mauvey nude cheek pencil and the terracotta lip, somehow work to create a feminine look I really liked.
There you have it. I want to say it took my about 10 minutes to do my makeup from start to finish. And most of the products are affordable. That can be a relative term since makeup tends to be more expensive these days but there is nothing wrong with a good drugstore dupe either! Try Maybelline’s Baby Skin Instant Pore Eraser if you love Smashbox Primer but not the price. See below for links to the specific products I used. Also, let me know if you would like to see me feature more beauty posts. What in particular would you like to see more of?
Here’s the rundown of the 8 items used: 1} Smashbox Photo Finish Foundation Primer, 2} Amazing Cosmetics Concealer in Fair Golden, 3} Amazing Cosmetics Concealer in Medium Beige, 4} Anastasia Dipbrow Pomade in Medium Brown, 5} Maybelline The Nudes Eyeshadow Palette, 6} Lancôme Hypnôse Doll Lashes Mascara, 7} Nudestix Lip + Cheek Pencil in Whisper, 8} Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipstick in Lolita II.
I love that lip color on you!! And I wish I could "fleek out" my brows lol. This look is soft and not over the top, I love it!
Thanks sugar. You have to get some dipbrow and her eyebrow brush. I love it and it's so easy. They have your color, blondie!
