December is here!

For me, it really is the most wonderful time of the year. This girl right here loves Christmas and all that it truly means. Celebrating Jesus in the spirit of giving, peace, hope, joy and above all love, makes me feel warm and fuzzy. My baby Briggs is about to turn one! Dax loves Christmas too… still trying to get my Mr. in the spirit even half as much as me. He’s gotten much better and more jolly through the years, especially after we had kids. I think now that this will be my first Christmas as a stay at home mom, I may go a bit Holiday crazy. And I’m absolutely ok with that!
I took a bit of a blogging hiatus this week so I just wanted to use this post as a hello and let you all know I’m here and ready for the thick of the Christmas season.

I know… we’re only one day in and not even an entire day has passed but I’m like Buddy from Elf. I may have morphed into an elf, now that I think about it. Ha!
Sometimes the overwhelm of December and Christmas can get to us all but I have so many plans and milestones and events coming up that are centered around family and friends that the overwhelm is euphoric. I feel so grateful to have a busy schedule.
