This look for less featuring Chloe‘s silk dress from the Fall 2023 collection is such a vibe and such a chic bohemian look. Chloe is a French brand and in case you are new here, I’m an absolute Francophile (see my latest Frenchish post here). I was immediately obsessed but I cannot afford designer looks like this. And furthermore, when I did the math on how much the designer look totalled, my eyes bugged out of my head.

Wow! Look at that total!!

It’s a little hard to imagine that clothing can costs so much money but hey, let the other half live how they want to. However, since I loved this look so much, I wanted to find a dupe in case I have a fancy Fall event coming up soon. Wishful thinking, ha! I do think I was successful. Here are some very similar pieces that you and I, Aunt Lola, best friend Tasha, and cousin Nicole can all afford (if they want to).

So tell me, what do you think about the price difference? The designer look is over $10k and the look for less is under $1k. And yes, I do realize the look for less is still quite pricey but for a special occasion, it’s not that bad. The boots and bag will last you a few seasons, easy. Cost per wear is an important factor on what I spend on clothing as I appreciate quality over cheap, fast fashion.

I actually love this dress from Anthropologie and the color and vibe is spot on. If you follow fashion trends, you know brown is trending this fall so I love the idea of pairing these boots with such a feminine color dress. And these tights make a lot of sense when worn with a shorter dress.
