I did a little home try on and took a few mirror selfies (my favorite) to show that transitioning out of loungewear is not easy… but it can be done. The tank dress is a great piece that can go from home to errand and even to work. It’s a must! I paired my midi tank dress with a long cardigan and wanted to show you 3 ways to wear this outfit.
My olive green tank dress is midi length, which works great for me because I have quite long legs. It’s Philosophy which I got at Nordstrom Rack for a steal. It’s no longer in-stock but of course I sourced some great similar styles below, including this one from Amazon for under $20! If you’re more petite, try a knee length version. Long cardigans are very #ontrend right now but I’ve had mine for a few years. It’s Loft but I found some great similar styles below for you to shop.
I styled this first look with nude heeled sandals. They are such a great staple and I love how they coordinate so well with my cardi. I made sure to put my hair down for this look as well. Gotta let your hair down sometimes!
I wanted to show a look that would work for the office or even church so I pulled out the handbag and pumps.
Last of all, I thought I’d channel Alexis Rose (remember how obsessed I am with Schitt’s Creek?) and wear this outfit with some booties. I’m not in love with this look but it definitely is a casual trend I wanted to share, although Alexis would have a mini dress with her booties, natch.
Which look is your fave – the midi tank dress and long cardigan with booties, pumps, or sandals??
