Life update! I have recently begun offering styling services to ladies (and potentially gentlemen) for special events and wardrobe rehaul. It’s a natural transition given this blog and my LTK shop (@keepingitmille).

I was contacted via Instagram to help a client find a dress for an upcoming brand dinner she was invited to in Fort Worth. There were some constraints I needed to consider.

1) The dress code was basically fancy western resort! Say what now?! lol.

2) She likes to cover her arms but show a bit of midriff.

3) I only had 5 days!!

So basically, I needed to give her some options same day or ASAP and also make sure the stores had the potential for curbside pickup or expedited shipping.

Here are the options I found.

My absolute favorite is this light blue cut-out dress from LuLu’s.

I also think this floral one from Anthropologie would look so good worn with cowgirl boots, which would be perfect for the dress code.
