Spring is here and summer is coming up quick! A lot us are shopping for new warm weather and vacation clothing. I recently purchased this fun yet sexy Crinkled Tie-detail maxi Dress from H&M and I love it.

It’s perfect for vacation and travel as it packs so easily. 

Yes, it’s black but I wear a lot of black. That will not change. Ever! Fashion rules be damned as far as I’m concerned. I pay more attention to the rules of shape, silhouette and style, not colors being appropriate. The lightweight fabric does give this a very easy to wear casual vibe, anyway! Fair warning, it is quite sheer but that also makes it suitable for warm climates and a more relaxed vacation dress code.

I accessorized with a packable straw hat, gold pavé huggie earrings from Kendra Scott, and clear strap espadrilles.
