Consuming: a lot of Avocado Toast. Well, I was before this week which has me cutting down on bread. I realize Avocado Toast is not groundbreaking food but it is delicious and that’s all I care about. Buttered whole grain toast with mashed avocado (made with lemon juice, sea salt, pepper and a touch of garlic powder). Yes ma’am!! Texas has not been affected by the Avocado recall, thank God!!

Reading: The Dud Avocado by Elaine Dundy. I know – more avocado , lol. This is a fun and very descriptive book about a young American woman gallivanting through Paris in the 1950’s. It was published in 1958 so it is a book of it’s time. Really enjoying it and I am doing great on my goal of 12 books this year (from here) – this is number 5!

Listening to: Marie Laforet (Tu Fais Semblant) – Mounika Remix. I heard this on a YouTube video of a vlogger’s trip to Montreal. Had to have it. It was not easy to find. Obsessed. Also anything by Dua Lipa is basis for my Presently Infatuated list

Watching: actually not a lot. I’ve been so focused on reading more that my shows have fell to the wayside. Any good Netflix recommendations?

Buying: these yoga/barre socks from Amazon. They are so comfy but very functional for studio workouts or for when I’m on my hardwoods. Under $6 for two pair!!!

Also bought this set of cuteness from my own activewear site.

So fun for Spring and Summer and may just work as a swimsuit! If it does work as swimwear for me, I’ll be sure to post pics.

Working out to: Xtend Barre via Openfit and Slim in 6. Slim in 6 is old faithful for me when it comes to getting in shape and losing weight. But I like to try new programs and am glad I found Xtend Barre. It’s so challenging but I love it. There is a studio in Dallas, which is about 30 minutes away but not sure I’ll ever make it there so I do the workouts via the OpenFit app and website. My abs and legs feel it. I’m feeling great mixing these two programs. I have a 10 week challenge with myself to lose 15 pounds!

Drinking: a lot of water. I’ve never had a problem drinking water but lately found myself not getting enough so I’m taking action and drinking like a fish. Trying not to drink a lot of alcohol but I am presently and always infatuated with a good cocktail.

Grateful for: good doctors and good insurance. I’ve had a few health issues come up lately and I certainly realize not everyone has the ability to choose their doctor or choose their insurance. I wish our healthcare system was better somehow. I don’t have the answers and not getting political but it for sure needs to be better!

Indulging in: not much. See above 10 week weight loss challenge, lol! I will say that I don’t deprive myself of chocolate too often but I haven’t purchased any snacks or candy bar type of items and we’re gonna keep it that way. I’ll have a small Special Dark or Ghirardelli chocolate square as a treat.

Obsessed with: this dress from Reformation.

I have no where to wear it and no money to buy it but it’s amazing and so flattering. I’m really just presently infatuated with midi dresses. #PERIODT!

Dreaming of: Travel. Montreal and London. It’s gonna happen people. I know you’re tired of me talking about it. Travel is just not super easy for me and my family in our current situation/lifestyle. More disposable income helps, I suppose!
